SCSU's Posch named NCHC Goaltender of the Week for 3rd time

St. Cloud State Men's Hockey sophomore goaltender Isak Posch (Umea, Sweden) was named National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC) co-Goaltender of the Week, as announced by the conference on Monday. Posch earns the honor for the third time this season after another solid performance in net, making 59 saves with a 1.45 goals-against average and .952 save percentage in a road split against No. 7/8 Colorado College.Posch is the third Husky to win six NCHC weekly honors this season, following himself winning it twice before (Oct. 7, 21) as well as the October NCHC Goaltender of the Month honor. Freshman forward Austin Burnevik (Ham Lake, Minn.) has won Rooke of the Week honors twice (Oct. 14, Nov. 11) while junior defenseman Josh Zinger (Red Deer, Alberta) was named the Defenseman of the Week on Oct. 28.Posch made 59 saves on the weekend, posting a 1.45 GAA and .952 S%.
