COLLEGEVILLE, Minn. – Four Saint John's University student-athletes were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District men's basketball team on Tuesday, March 25.Senior guard Luke Healy (Hudson, Wis.), junior guard Kyle Johnson (Prior Lake, Minn./DeLaSalle), senior wing Ryan Thissen (Rosemount, Minn./Eastview) and senior guard Kooper Vaughn (St. Charles, Minn.) received the academic distinction.Nominees must be a sophomore or better with a 3.5 cumulative GPA or higher. Each institution may nominate up to four student-athletes for Academic All-District recognition in basketball.All of the Academic All-District awardees are now eligible for Academic All-America distinction, which will be voted on by organization members and announced on April 15.The CSC Academic All-District honor is the third-consecutive for Thissen and Vaughn, and the second for Healy and Johnson.
